AQUAKULTUR - Sacred Water
SACRED WATER
Give me back my dignity
Fifteen years have passed since I started to concern myself with the essence of water. I want to share my many observations with you, which I have been collecting while being in and with nature. Over time the vision of exploring new fields in collaboration with science has been developed. Being a water pioneer, I want to give you an impression of my way of perceiving and open new doors within you. For the following article I chose two focal points: The water treatment of rivers and the different possibilities of sensitization within us for the most precious asset on earth – water.
Water is THE universal source of life. To appreciate the most valuable thing here on earth, something more than reason is required. This is why I want to invite you to a new “aqua culture” here and now. When we begin to deliberately and appreciatively sense the water and its ways within ourselves, we will be able to handle nature more sensibly and start clearing and healing processes. Water is life and connected to us inseparably. Flowing with life, allowing the current moment – to be like water – receiving, carrying, shaping, these are powers of womanhood.
As a pedagogue I feel obligated to teach more about water than the contents in schoolbooks contain. I try to build and strengthen the links between science and the intuitive perception of my students. We actively turn to nature and foster this connection in a playful manner. For our children are the future scientists and healers of this world! If you want to teach children about the nature of water, the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto proves to be very helpful. The communicative experience with the soul of water and its influence on our life has been part of my work for years. Working as a pedagogue I try to explain Dr. Emotos work to my students in a very simple way. They always show a lot of interest in the pictures of water crystals and their stories and are both touched by their beauty and shocked about their deformations. Dr. Emoto made something very important visible: Water changes under the influence of thought and emotion. The crystals are a visible feedback on what does or doesn’t do us good on a mental, emotional, and physical level. And that is not everything. He found out that water can be influenced in a positive way with words, pictures, sounds, and thoughts.
Negative thoughts are also able to change water – not only in our cells. A river is not only a river, but also a bearer of emotions. To be in tune with yourself or “to be in the flow” is therefore reflected on all levels of existence. Our breathing is a great symbol and allegory for free-flowing water. Worrying thoughts, doubts, or fear constrict our bodies and minds. But whenever we breathe consciously in a light and joyful manner, we feel comfortable and well. This can be an important contribution to our own health. By giving attention to the water in our own bodies, we also honour the water of the earth. We are all creatures of water. This automatically means that we should be appreciative and respectful when handling water. In all cultures across the world, we can find knowledge, clues, songs, pictures, dances, and sacred ceremonies to celebrate this unity.
Water wants to move, to toss and turn from the source to the delta. When you observe a spring, you can see this for yourself. But the opportunity for natural movement is being taken away by straightenings, regulations, and pipes. When I put my hand into a bowl filled with water from a river, I can feel if and how much movement there is. Does it still toss and turn? Which conceptual influences does it carry? If possible, I try to restore the initial movement of the natural stream course and contribute to a harmonization of the body of water. That is how a re-naturalization on an energetic and subtle level becomes possible. If you want to inform bodies of water in this manner, afterwards a redistribution of the processed water using microorganisms would be a possibility. How this re-naturalization would influence water bodies on a subtle level and which opportunities would arise from that is a matter of scientific research. Now I want to present you with a gift from my “treasure chest”:
Imagine you are standing in front of a body of water and you are deliberately breathing in the fresh breeze and the scent of the water. Maybe you can find a beautiful spot on the bank of a brook, a lake, or the ocean. You are watching the waves glint in the sun. There is an infinite amount of light spots dancing on the surface of the water in front of you. Take your time and enjoy the moment. You are calmly breathing in and out. Thoughts are turning into clouds in the sky which just move on. By turning all your attention towards the water, breathing deliberately, and being deeply connected to nature, the nature of water will react to you – according to my observations and the work of Dr. Emoto. A certain kind of communication can develop. If you now put your arms up in the air as if you wanted to hug the whole world and breathe deeply, the essence of water will respond to you and have a harmonizing effect on you.
Be aware of your connection with the water. This is how you can become your own healer. There is a reason why there are so many stories about healing wells, miracle springs and mystical water creatures. I want to end with the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto: Love and gratitude make up the two most beautiful crystals in the collection of Dr. Masaru Emoto. An encounter, a word, a gesture, a smile, a sunbeam, a flower, a melody, … what are you grateful for?
